Carlos Hiller

From childhood, underwater artist Carlos, an Argentinean based in Costa Rica, has studied painting (both ancient and modern techniques) and biology (particularly marine). An avid diver and snorkeler, he prefers to paint from his own underwater experiences. Carlos tries to capture in his work the happiness he feels when in the ocean, thus his images overflow with energy and life. More than anything, he wants to evoke the need to conserve sea life in all its forms. He also creates art in public places, accompanied by live music and involving the audience in the creative process.
